Responsibilities
The Charge Nurse is responsible for the daily operation of the respective unit(s)/department, providing direct communication with the Director and/or House Supervisor on unanticipated patient care events and/or risk management activities. You will utilize nursing personnel effectively, assisting with scheduling, staffing, and assignments, and provide direction, supervision, and evaluation of staff as necessary.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a current and valid state RN License, current BLS, and ACLS certification. Previous supervisory experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred, as well as a minimum of one year of staff nurse experience in an acute care hospital setting, preferably in a Critical Care setting.
