Marketing and Communications Director

Centinela Hospital Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications Director to join its award-winning team. As a key member of the hospital's leadership team, the Marketing and Communications Director will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing and communications plans to promote the hospital's services and enhance its reputation.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Journalism, or a related field, and at least five years of experience in public relations, marketing, advertising, or communications, including at least three years in the healthcare field. The candidate should also have a track record of effectively dealing with senior-level executives, physicians, and board members, and experience with creative software and internet applications, including social media and digital marketing strategies.

The Marketing and Communications Director will be responsible for leading the hospital's marketing and communications efforts, including developing and implementing marketing campaigns, managing the hospital's website and social media presence, and collaborating with the business development team to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and relationship-building skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic marketing and communications plans to promote the hospital's services and enhance its reputation

• Lead the hospital's marketing and communications efforts, including developing and implementing marketing campaigns, managing the hospital's website and social media presence, and collaborating with the business development team to drive business growth

• Develop and maintain relationships with senior-level executives, physicians, and board members to promote the hospital's services and enhance its reputation

• Manage the hospital's website and social media presence, including creating and publishing content, responding to comments and messages, and analyzing engagement metrics

• Collaborate with the business development team to drive business growth, including developing and implementing marketing campaigns and managing the hospital's website and social media presence

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the hospital's services and programs, including its mission, vision, and values

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing and communications, and apply this knowledge to develop and implement effective marketing and communications strategies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Journalism, or a related field

• At least five years of experience in public relations, marketing, advertising, or communications, including at least three years in the healthcare field

• Proven track record of effectively dealing with senior-level executives, physicians, and board members

• Experience with creative software and internet applications, including social media and digital marketing strategies

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
