We're seeking a skilled Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team at The Essex Resort & Spa. As a key member of our hospitality team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the smooth operation of our restaurants, ensuring seamless service and high-quality food.
  • Monitor and critique food quality and service levels to maintain our high standards.
  • Hire, train, and develop a talented team of restaurant staff.
  • Forecast and schedule staff according to occupancy levels to ensure optimal service.
  • Track payroll and revenue, ensuring accurate financial management.
  • Coach and counsel staff to achieve exceptional performance.
  • Ensure the physical atmosphere and cleanliness of our restaurants meet our high standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with end-of-month inventory.
  • Order new products and supplies as needed.
  • Attend department head meetings and conferences to stay informed and aligned with our goals.
  • Conduct timely performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain profitability through forecasting and staffing.
  • Communicate effectively with our Director of Food and Beverage, Director of Restaurants, and General Manager on upcoming events and promotions.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Provide a pleasant and efficient atmosphere for staff and guests.
