Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join our team at US Foods. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding our customer base, and building strong relationships with our existing customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain existing accounts through regular visits and follow-up to ensure optimal account service and alignment with customer contracts.
  • Responsible for achieving annual sales plans through growth and penetration of existing accounts.
  • Present new ideas and products to customers to secure account penetration and loyalty, and manage product mix to maximize profit goals and contract compliance.
  • Communicate with customers to apprise them of mutual performance, new products, programs, and market trends through periodic Business Reviews.
  • Lead sales team to ensure optimum service to accounts, maximize AE time spent with customers, meet or exceed accounts receivable currency targets, and review all accounts to ensure program compliance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma with a minimum of three years of relevant experience required; Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of sales and distribution experience required, preferably in the foodservice industry or related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, customer service, and presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
