Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC). As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a critical role in the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of facilities for the Navy, Marine Corps, and other Supported Commands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and analyze mechanical systems, including HVAC, industrial, and energy monitoring systems.
  • Prepare detailed working drawings, cost estimates, and project specifications for a wide range of facility types.
  • Conduct site investigations and inspections to collect data and refine project scope.
  • Review and approve contractor submittals to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Provide technical administration and coordination efforts with other engineers and architects on multidiscipline projects.
Requirements:
  • SECRET Clearance
  • Registered Professional Engineer
