About the Role

Coffman Engineers is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Spokane. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of mechanical systems for our clients in the healthcare, laboratory, industrial, and energy markets.

We are looking for a professional with a strong background in HVAC and plumbing consulting engineering, with a minimum of 10 years of experience. You will be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior engineers, as well as collaborating with other disciplines to deliver high-quality projects.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in architectural engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, and be registered as a P.E. You will also have experience with MS Office programs, exceptional technical writing and communication skills, and a strong desire to work as a proactive team player.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for clients in the healthcare, laboratory, industrial, and energy markets
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to ensure their professional growth and development
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver high-quality projects
  • Develop and maintain technical skills and knowledge to stay up-to-date with industry developments
