Electrical Assembler

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler to join our team at SITE Staffing. As an Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for performing electrical assembly work on heavy equipment, including cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment in the nuclear power industry.
Key Responsibilities- Electrical Assembly: Perform electrical assembly work on equipment, modernizations, and parts for lifting equipment in the nuclear power industry. This includes wiring hoists, building control panels, piping and wiring trolley's and bridge assemblies, installing camera systems, lighting and warning systems, and other customer-specified equipment.
- Start-up and Troubleshooting: Assist with the start-up and troubleshooting of controls and equipment.
- Collaboration: Work with mechanical assemblers when required and report to the Manufacturing Electrical Supervisor in close coordination with the Manufacturing Mechanical Supervisor, Manufacturing Manager, Production Planners, Engineering, and Purchasing.
- Electrical Skills: Must have panel wiring, schematic, and sub-assembly skills.
- Self-Starter: Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
- Team Player: Must be flexible and work well with others in a team environment.
- Schematic Reading: Have good schematic reading ability, differentiate between power and control wiring, and be able to read and understand electrical drawings.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understand NEC regulations as they pertain to the job and be familiar with various control types, including inverters, two or three-speed controls, and some static stepless.
- Troubleshooting: Have solid troubleshooting skills and experience working for a manufacturing company producing heavy equipment with electrical components and controls.
