- Execute electrical assembly tasks on machinery, upgrades, and components for lifting systems within the nuclear energy sector. This may involve wiring hoists, constructing control panels, installing piping and wiring for trolleys and bridge systems, as well as integrating camera systems, lighting, warning systems, and other client-specific apparatus.
- Support the initiation and troubleshooting of controls and machinery.
- Collaborate with mechanical assemblers as necessary. This role will report to the Manufacturing Electrical Supervisor and will work closely with the Manufacturing Mechanical Supervisor, Manufacturing Manager, Production Planners, Engineering, and Purchasing teams.
- Proficiency in panel wiring, schematics, and sub-assembly tasks.
- Self-motivated individual.
- Ability to adapt and work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
- Strong schematic interpretation skills, with the ability to distinguish between power and control wiring. Competence in reading and comprehending electrical diagrams.
- Familiarity with NEC regulations relevant to the position. Knowledge of various control types, such as inverters, dual or triple speed controls, and some static stepless systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting capabilities.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment producing heavy machinery with electrical components and controls is advantageous.
