JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct electrical assembly tasks on machinery, upgrades, and components for lifting devices within the nuclear energy sector. This may involve wiring hoists, constructing control panels, installing piping and wiring for trolleys and bridge systems, and integrating camera systems, lighting, warning systems, and other client-specific apparatus.
  • Support the initiation and troubleshooting of controls and machinery.
  • Collaborate with mechanical assemblers as necessary. This role will report to the Electrical Supervisor in Manufacturing and work closely with the Mechanical Supervisor, Manufacturing Manager, Production Planners, Engineering, and Purchasing teams.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Proficient in panel wiring, schematic interpretation, and sub-assembly techniques.
  • Self-motivated individual.
  • Ability to adapt and work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
  • Strong capability in reading schematics, distinguishing between power and control wiring, and comprehending electrical diagrams.
  • Knowledge of NEC regulations relevant to the position. Familiarity with various control systems, such as inverters and multi-speed controls, is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting abilities.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment focused on heavy machinery with electrical components and controls is advantageous.
This position involves working with substantial equipment, including cranes and hoists, to assist in the assembly and construction of heavy machinery.
