Key Responsibilities- Assemble machinery, fabricated parts, electrical equipment, and more according to designs from the engineering team.
- Assist with production and project work by managing assigned tasks.
- Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, or blueprints.
- Align, fit, or assemble component parts using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, or templates.
- Build ethernet connections, place/mount/wire sensors.
- Maintain technical and operational documentation.
- Conduct quality inspections on products and parts.
- Perform preventive or corrective maintenance.
- Collaborate with other team members and use creative problem-solving skills to work through challenges.
- Break down completed systems and prepare finished products for shipment.
- Install finished systems on customer site.
- Act as a resource to others.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Follow all safety rules, such as safe work practices and standard operating procedures.
- High School Diploma, or GED.
- Basic ability in mathematics, reading, and writing.
- Software proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite, and Office 365.
- Experience with hand tools and fabrication equipment such as plasma tables, CNC, welder, brake press, and band saws.
- Detail oriented.
- Must be able to work well as a productive member of a team.
- Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
- One year experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields.
- Ability to cut to size and assemble t-slot frames such as 8020.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot electrical wiring.
- Experience with basic electrical assembly, including building ethernet connections and wiring/placement of sensors.
- Associate's degree in a technical field from an accredited university or college; preferably automation systems and robotics.
- Experience with assembly tools and materials.
- Experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment.
- Demonstrated experience with electronics assembly, soldering, and torque-controlled devices.
- Demonstrated experience with root-cause and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated experience with quality control and facilitating continuous process improvement.
