Position Summary:
We are in search of a skilled Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of various IT initiatives. This remote role involves managing projects under the guidance of a Program Manager for significant strategic accounts, as well as independently handling medium-sized projects. You will coordinate resources and ensure that all project goals are achieved. Although this position is remote, candidates must operate during West Coast hours to align with client schedules. Your role will be crucial in maintaining client relationships and upholding high standards of project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and project scope.
  • Create comprehensive project plans detailing essential tasks, milestones, resource allocations, and budget management.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing thorough communication and reporting, including executive summaries for customer leadership, to ensure transparency and alignment with project objectives.
  • Facilitate effective communication with internal stakeholders, including Account Executives, Architects, PMO, and Leadership, to ensure alignment and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Service Delivery Leadership to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status updates, progress reports, and post-project evaluations.
  • Identify and address potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet the required quality standards and client specifications.
  • Adhere to PMO standards, templates, and tools to guarantee consistency and efficiency in project execution.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes and methodologies.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.
  • Regularly inform stakeholders about project status, promptly addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Support project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in information technology, project management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing medium to large-scale IT projects with varying complexities.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies (networks, servers, cloud services) and information security principles (firewalls, encryption, access controls).
  • Experience with Citrix projects is advantageous (e.g., Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler).
  • Proficient in project management tools such as Smartsheet, NetSuite, Microsoft 365, and particularly experienced in MS Project for effective project tracking and management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project planning, budget management, and timeline coordination. Skilled in scope control, risk identification and mitigation, effective communication across all levels, decisive decision-making, and leading diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging with technical teams and customer leadership. Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate effective working relationships.
