Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify design criteria and develop effective designs that meet client expectations.
  • Provide direct client interface and lead plan processing at public agencies.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive business growth and lead generation.
  • Manage administrative and financial tasks, including invoicing, budget monitoring, and proposal development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop schedules and supervise the coordination of workflow for the design team.
  • Supervise plan preparation, technical reports, cost estimates, and other client deliverables.
  • Ensure high-quality work that meets agency and client standards.
  • Oversee coordination with outside consultants and internal departments.
  • Conduct site investigations and research for proposals, designs, and marketing materials.
  • Provide workload forecasts and communicate resource needs to the Sr. Project Manager.
  • Conduct staff reviews and provide coaching and training.
  • Track project budgets and provide billing instructions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline.
  • 10 years of civil engineering design experience, with a minimum of 3 years as a central design figure for a team.
  • EIT certification required; PE license or ability to obtain within 2 years.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D preferred.
