Job Summary

AgReserves is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing plant's electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical systems, including testing and troubleshooting circuits, locating and repairing defective parts, and performing preventive maintenance functions.
  • Electrical System Assessment: Assess the electrical maintenance needs of equipment and implement an effective regular maintenance program to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Electrical System Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical system issues, including electro-mechanical based control systems, and perform preventive maintenance functions on low and medium voltage electro-mechanical, PLC, and solid-state polyphase switch gear operations and voltage motors.
  • Electrical System Safety: Ensure that all safety devices and emergency shutdown procedures are functioning properly, including lockout-tagout procedures, and adhere to all safety procedures to champion a best-in-class safety culture.
  • Electrical System Training: Stay up-to-date with industry and trade-related training, licenses, and certifications required to perform the job effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent; advanced degree a plus.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Oregon/Washington State Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant Electrician License or higher.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant Electrician.
  • Skills: Solid working knowledge of processing plant electrical systems, understanding of 480v voltage motor operation, computer proficiency in MS tools, ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, schematics diagrams, and follow specifications.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills; Spanish language ability a plus; valid driver's license; First-Aid and CPR certification.
