We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires a strong background in electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description:
As an Electrical Systems Specialist at AgReserves, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems. This includes testing and troubleshooting circuits, performing preventive maintenance functions, and collaborating with the maintenance team to minimize downtime. You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Test and troubleshoot electrical circuits in our plant and farm locations.
• Perform preventive maintenance functions on low and medium voltage electro-mechanical, PLC, and solid-state polyphase switch gear operations and voltage motors.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify and prioritize mechanical and electrical needs.
• Stay educated on updates to the National Electrical Code and various regulations, practices, and industry standards governing installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Oregon/Washington State Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant Electrician License or higher.
• 5+ years of experience as a Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant Electrician.
• Solid working knowledge of processing plant electrical systems.
• Computer proficiency in MS tools with ability to learn other programs/systems/software.
• Able to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, schematics diagrams, and follow specifications.
