pbJob Summary:/b/ppWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at AgReserves. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and troubleshooting electrical circuits, assessing maintenance needs, and performing preventive maintenance functions./ppbKey Responsibilities:/b/pulliTest and troubleshoot electrical circuits in panels and systems throughout the farm and plant./liliLocate, repair, and replace defective parts./liliAssess electrical maintenance needs of equipment and implement an effective regular maintenance program./liliPerform preventive maintenance functions on low and medium voltage electro-mechanical, PLC, and solid-state polyphase switchgear operations and voltage motors./liliPerform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance functions on electro-mechanical based control systems./liliStay educated on updates to the National Electrical Code and various regulations, practices, and industry standards governing installation and maintenance of various types of electrical systems./liliBuild strong relationships to effectively partner with other departments to proactively understand their needs./liliCollaborate with the maintenance team on reducing mechanical downtime and maximizing downtime by identifying and prioritizing mechanical and electrical needs./liliBecome familiar with all safety devices and emergency shutdown procedures; ensure they are always functioning, including lockout-tagout procedures./liliAdhere to all safety procedures and champion a best-in-class safety culture./liliUpkeep any industry and trade-related training, licenses, and certifications required to perform the job effectively./li/ulpbRequirements:/b/pulliHigh School diploma or equivalent. Advanced degree a plus./liliOregon/Washington State Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant Electrician License or higher./lili5+ years of experience as a Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant Electrician./liliSolid working knowledge of processing plant electrical systems./liliUnderstand 480v voltage motor operation and perform preventive maintenance functions./liliComputer proficiency in MS tools with the ability to learn other programs/systems/software./liliAble to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, schematics diagrams, and follow specifications./liliStrong collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills. Spanish language ability a plus./liliValid driver's license./liliFirst-Aid and CPR certification./liliAbility to work long hours, overtime, weekends, and holidays, per company needs./li/ul
