Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Dietitian to join our Food Service Nutrition Team at the University of Toledo. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing nutrition education and training support to the campus community, implementing corporate wellness programming, and coordinating with the dining management team to meet dietary needs for all customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement nutrition education programs for students, faculty, and staff
  • Collaborate with the dining management team to ensure menu development and nutrient analysis meet the needs of all customers
  • Provide training and support to dining staff on food allergen management and nutrition-related topics
  • Assist with menu planning and development to ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and preferences
  • Partner with marketing to ensure accurate nutrition communication and messaging
  • Lead sustainability efforts in dining spaces, working with operations and campus stakeholders to track, improve, and communicate sustainability initiatives
  • Operational execution and oversight, including hands-on work in dining spaces to serve guests, train associates, and ensure excellence in operations and culinary services
  • Collaborate with campus offices, departments, and organizations to ensure alignment with university goals and needs

Qualifications:

  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable
  • Ability to present information in one-on-one and group settings
  • Experience working with special diets and food allergies preferred
  • Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract managed services experience desirable
  • ServSafe Manager certified a plus
  • Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft applications and nutrient analysis programs
