Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at ProMedica Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing patient-centered nutrition care to our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments to identify patients at risk of malnutrition
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans using evidence-based best practices
  • Provide education on therapeutic diets to patients and caregivers
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nutrition and dietetics or related field
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) status and/or successful completion of the national registration examination (RD) within 120 days of hire
  • Ohio dietitian licensure (LD) and/or obtain licensure within 120 days of hire
  • Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
Preferred Qualifications
  • One-three years of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in an academic hospital
  • Licensed dietitian (LD) through the Medical Board of Ohio
Working Conditions

Employee will be expected to wear Personal Protective Equipment as required by the hospital. Employee should be able to be standing, moving or walking for long lengths of time, and this may happen for the entirety of the shift.
