Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify patients at risk of malnutrition and develop individualized nutrition care plans
  • Conduct nutrition assessments and provide education to patients and caregivers
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to hospital goals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition and dietetics or related field
  • Completion of a dietetic internship
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) status or eligibility to register within 120 days
  • Ohio licensure as a dietitian (LD) or eligibility to obtain within 120 days
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in nutrition and dietetics
  • Experience in an acute care setting, preferably in an academic hospital
Working Conditions

Employee will be expected to wear Personal Protective Equipment as required by the hospital. Employee should be able to stand, move, or walk for long lengths of time, and this may happen for the entirety of the shift.
