Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide patient-centered nutrition care based on evidence-based best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify patients at risk of malnutrition and develop individualized nutrition care plans
  • Conduct nutrition assessments and provide education to patients and caregivers
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient information and care plans in the electronic medical record
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to hospital goals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition and dietetics or related field
  • Completion of a dietetic internship
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) status or successful completion of the national registration examination within 120 days of hire
  • Ohio licensure as a dietitian (LD) or obtain licensure within 120 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • One to three years of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in an academic hospital
  • Registered dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
Working Conditions

Employee will be expected to wear Personal Protective Equipment as required by the hospital. Employee should be able to be standing, moving or walking for long lengths of time, and this may happen for the entirety of the shift.
