Nutrition Wellness Specialist

As a key member of the ProMedica Health System team, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing high-quality wellness services, with a focus on nutritional services, to improve the health and well-being of employees and the communities served by ProMedica.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging wellness programs, including lectures, demonstrations, and media presentations, to promote healthy behaviors and lifestyles.
  • Design and implement program evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness of wellness services and make data-driven decisions to improve programs.
  • Provide wellness counseling and coaching to employees on health risk assessment and biometric screening results, as well as provide patient instructions on appropriate practices to follow.
  • Investigate and implement nutritional wellness best practices, and serve as a role model for wellness by participating in employee wellness program activities and demonstrating positive health behaviors.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as nutrition or public health.
  • One year of experience in a related field, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Must be licensed in the State of Ohio and maintain National Registration.
  • Must be trained in CPR and First Aid, and possess public speaking skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
