We are seeking a detail-oriented and solution-oriented Contract Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will provide critical support to our attorneys and business partners in the review and management of contracts, as well as assist with litigation-related inquiries and other projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Review and Management: Assist Corporate Counsel and business partners with the review and management of template, commercial, non-disclosure, consulting, and similar agreements.
  • Contract Renewals and Modifications: Assist business partners with contract renewals and modifications, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Template and Contract Maintenance: Maintain and file templates and executed contracts, including docketing of expiration and renewal deadlines.
  • Litigation Support: Manage litigation-related inquiries, including investigation of facts and circumstances, coordination of outside counsel, internal parties, and insurance carrier, responses to subpoenas and records requests, and preservation, collection, review, and production of documents as necessary.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Organize and track information to produce internal quarterly litigation reports.
  • Policy Development: Assist with the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct legal research in various areas of law related to the healthcare and medical device industries, as well as those related to clinical laboratories.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree and Paralegal Certificate as recognized by the American Bar Association.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of paralegal experience either in a law firm or in-house environment focused on contracts and litigation.
  • Skills: Solution-oriented individual with the ability to prioritize, analyze situations from both a legal and commercial perspective, and handle multiple responsibilities with little to no supervision. Strong knowledge and understanding of contract terms and an understanding of the legal and business implications of contract provisions. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product.
