Role Responsibilities

In this capacity, you will take charge of the technological elements at project sites, fostering relationships and deploying essential IT solutions tailored to each location. The IT Support Specialist will act as the primary point of contact for all IT-related inquiries across Gemma's initiatives.

Key Duties Include:

  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and operational protocols.
  • Facilitate the integration of technology at job sites while gathering insights to enhance processes.
  • Oversee IT management at construction sites.
  • Coordinate the acquisition of IT equipment for project locations.
  • Administer end-user computing resources.
  • Manage mobile device operations.
  • Supervise peripheral devices, such as printers and scanners.
  • Conduct network setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and decommissioning.
  • Support adherence to physical and information security standards at job sites.
  • Champion technology integration and support, including timekeeping systems, digital onboarding, construction software, document management, and project oversight.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT support role or similar capacity.
  • Relevant IT systems and field experience is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of Windows Server environments and networking principles.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in diagnosing IT issues and delivering timely solutions.
  • Work boots are required on-site.
  • Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor settings as project needs dictate.
