Our Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Field Sales Specialist focused on Board and Panel solutions to enhance our market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture the overall relationship with cabinet and furniture manufacturers within your designated territory.
- Drive sales of Richelieu product offerings through effective consultative sales conversations, positioning yourself as a trusted business advisor.
- Proactively increase sales of Board and Panel products, both independently and in collaboration with other team members.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with both new and existing clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how Richelieu solutions can improve their operations.
- Take ownership of your territory's growth by acquiring new customers and developing existing relationships.
- Analyze purchasing trends of current accounts to identify opportunities for deeper engagement and service.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, establishing yourself as the go-to resource for your clients.
- Stay informed about Richelieu's product range and evolving market dynamics to provide informed recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting within the CRM system.
- Regular travel is required; candidates must have reliable transportation and be prepared for fieldwork several days a week.
- Physical demands may include lifting or moving items up to 50 lbs.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in outside sales, particularly with wood panels, laminates, and boards, ideally in the kitchen and bath sectors.
- A proactive and passionate approach, with a strong work ethic and coachability.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize activities that yield results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive base salary with uncapped monthly commissions, along with quarterly and annual bonuses.
