Requirements:
  • BS/BA or equivalent in life sciences, medical technology, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory role or related field
  • Ability to relocate to any location in the Northwest Technical region
  • Computer proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a chemistry, transfusion medicine, microbiology, virology, or immunology laboratory
  • LIS experience preferred
  • Certified as a medical technologist, microbiologist, or specialist
Work Environment:

Typical outside field-based environment. Must have the discipline, organization skills, and self-motivation to work autonomously in a home office environment. Must be willing and physically able to travel on average 75% of the time. Must maintain a valid driver's license and must maintain an automobile suitable for travel to customer sites, airport, etc.

Salary Transparency:

The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary for this position is $70,000. QuidelOrtho offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off (including sick time) and paid Holidays.
