Senior Project Manager - Aviation Infrastructure

AllSearch Recruiting is representing a dynamic and expanding firm specializing in Aviation Construction Management Consulting. Our client is dedicated to delivering exceptional service to their clients and partners, establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders in the aviation industry.

We are currently in search of a Senior Project Manager to join their team. This role involves leading on-site support for an extensive Airport Terminal Expansion initiative. The Senior Project Manager will oversee multiple phases of a significant multi-year construction upgrade within an operational airport environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary contact for all on-site activities.
  • Evaluate Contractor's schedule performance and assess progress against established benchmarks.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, including Management and Quality Control Plans.
  • Manage the contractor's Quality Assurance Program and address any related issues that arise during construction.
  • Facilitate daily coordination between contractors and airport operations to minimize disruptions.
  • Collaborate with contractors and municipal operations to align inspection and acceptance testing with the overall project timeline.
  • Review ongoing work to verify compliance with technical and operational standards.
  • Assess contractor invoices and payment requests for accuracy and legitimacy.
  • Assist in evaluating change orders for validity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Track issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Participate in constructability reviews and design coordination sessions as needed.
  • Support the review and response process for Requests for Information (RFIs) and ensure proper documentation.
  • Oversee the commissioning process in collaboration with the Commissioning Agent.
  • Conduct punch list inspections and support project closeout activities.
  • Attend all significant meetings involving Owners and Contractors.
  • Manage contract documentation, including changes and requests for information.
  • Maintain compliance with client-specific electronic filing and archival procedures.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering is preferred.
  • Over 10 years of experience in Project or Construction Management, particularly in large-scale airport renovation projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction processes and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Familiarity with CPM Scheduling software (P6 or Asta) is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work on-site 4-5 days per week.

  • Competitive base salary in the range of 150k – 200k annually.
