Job Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers on transportation, site/civil, and infrastructure projects
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities related to project development, design, permitting, and construction administration
  • Mentor and train less experienced engineers
  • Prepare permit applications and meet with permitting agencies
  • Present at public hearings
  • Manage project design teams
  • Support business development and staff recruitment activities
  • Maintain positive client relationships
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Connecticut PE license
  • At least 10 years of relevant professional experience with high-level transportation and civil engineering design
  • At least 2 years of prior project management and supervisory/mentoring experience
  • Experience with local and state permitting in Connecticut
  • Strong AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HydroCAD skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills
