About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Regional Credit and Collection team, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring the success of our global accounts receivable operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Regional Credit & Collection and AR Leaders, providing mentorship, development, and succession planning to organizational talent.
  • Manage the Global Accounts Receivable lifecycle, applying advanced strategies and providing performance transparency through reporting (KPIs, Metrics, and SLAs).
  • Regularly interact with and report to the Segment CFOs regarding current risks/opportunities, analysis of the monthly results, and communication of future month forecasts.
  • Drive method and strategy to help achieve sales initiatives, while minimizing loss for the organization, based on buyer's credit worthiness and country risk associated with specific buyers.
  • Ensure collateral documents are compliant and liens perfected in accordance with local laws and regulations.
  • Act as a change agent and process innovator, demonstrating project management proficiency in all aspects of the order-to-cash process.
  • Work cross-functionally to drive process improvements and customer satisfaction.
  • Actively represent AR in acquisitions, integrations, and/or ERP system changes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 12+ years of relevant Commercial Credit and Accounts Receivable experience.
  • 10+ years experience in leading and managing teams.
  • Certified Credit designation preferred.
  • Global experience an asset.
  • Experience working at a publicly traded company strongly preferred.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • Experience with GETPAID, SAP, or JDE financial systems is a plus.
