Pharmaceutical Specialist

About the Role
The Clinical Pharmacist will be responsible for reviewing medication orders for safe and effective use, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare personnel to achieve optimal patient outcomes, and formulating recommendations based on current literature and evidence-based practice. This challenging and rewarding role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review medication orders for safe and effective use
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare personnel to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Formulate recommendations based on current literature and evidence-based practice
Qualifications
- A Doctor of Pharmacy (Ph.D.) degree from an accredited institution
- Current applicable state license with Board of Pharmacy required
- Previous pharmacist experience preferred

Salary and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. MaineHealth also offers a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
