We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist On-Call to join our team at Providence St Vincent Medical Center. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in performing high-quality Nuclear Medicine examinations for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.

Job DescriptionAs a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing Nuclear Medicine examinations for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes under the direction of a physician
- Preparing patients, preparing and administering prescribed doses of radioactive pharmaceuticals and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals
- Performing calculations and manipulating data according to established parameters
- Ensuring proper preparation and/or ordering of radioactive material, calibrating equipment, and maintaining quality control standards
- Monitoring patients and performing other duties as assigned
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirements
- Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist upon hire, or equivalent certification within 6 months
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Proficient in Nuclear Medicine technology and procedures
