Job Overview

The Senior Oncology Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth through promoting our innovative oncology therapeutic products within assigned territories. This role requires building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including medical oncologists, hematologists, endocrinologists, and nurses, while ensuring compliance with FDA-approved labeling. You'll work closely with office management to provide valuable insights and resources, such as product data, to support your efforts. A deep understanding of managed markets and regulatory guidelines is essential for success in this role.

Main Responsibilities

  • Educate targeted customers on the utilization of our promoted oncology therapeutic products for specific indications, delivering clinical, efficacy, and safety messaging in a compliant manner.
  • Achieve sales growth as outlined in the business plan and measured according to the Incentive Compensation Plan by driving sales pull-through with open-access and independent targets for specific indications.
  • Develop and implement territory business plans aligned with overall business objectives, regularly reviewing progress with management to ensure strategic components and call prioritization meet/exceed sales goals.
  • Influence prescribers and decision-makers through a thorough understanding of issues and opportunities in the territory to generate sales growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) required.
  • Senior OSS: 3 years of experience in relevant specialty sales, device sales, or related therapeutic areas; oncology experience is highly preferred.

Estimated salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on location and performance.
