Job Overview

Primal Pet Group is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team in Northern California and Nevada. This role is responsible for increasing retail availability, awareness, and consumption of Primal Pet Group products in the assigned territory.

  • Develop strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and influencers to maximize impact and stay informed about market trends.
  • Open new retail accounts and expand product offerings at existing accounts.
  • Train retailers on product features and benefits, and identify in-store experts to promote Primal brands.
  • Leverage distributor resources to drive sales and ensure sufficient inventory levels.
  • Identify and support key retailer and community events using the Primal Demo Team.
  • Manage resources effectively to deliver maximum results.
Key Responsibilities
  • Knowledge of pet food industry brands and products.
  • Previous sales experience in pet or natural foods preferred.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Self-starter in an independent environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective budget management.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of success.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Requirements
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of schedule within Northern CA and Nevada.
  • Availability to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Residency in Northern CA required.
