POSITION OVERVIEW: The primary role of the Environmental Services Field Technician is to ensure timely responses to scheduled and emergency service calls. Technicians are tasked with managing cleanups, spills, and decontamination efforts related to hazardous materials.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute tasks under the supervision of a Supervisor or Foreman, focusing on the remediation of hazardous waste and materials.
  • Uphold health and safety as the top priority by adhering to all safe work practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Engage in daily activities that may include confined space entry, tank cleaning, oil spill response, drum handling, decontamination, and high-pressure washing.
  • Be available for rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and participate in an on-call schedule for emergency response, which may involve travel.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant certifications, including Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
