About the Role

Civil & Environmental Consultants is seeking a skilled Environmental Specialist to join our team in Bridgeport. As an Environmental Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting on-site environmental inspections associated with pipeline construction and water transfer projects, well pad construction, and road construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site environmental inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and designs
  • Ensure proper installation of erosion control devices
  • Conduct inspections of pipeline construction and water transfer projects, well pad construction, and road construction projects
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate environmental risks
  • Develop and implement effective erosion control plans

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in erosion and sediment control inspection or pipeline integrity inspection
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work long hours outdoors under various field conditions
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to operate 4-wheel drive vehicle
  • Ability to walk long distances when required
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Availability to work weekends and/or rotating shifts
  • Ability to operate or learn how to operate data collection/GPS devices
  • Safeland or OSHA 10 Training
  • First-Aid/CPR Training
