Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Project Manager to join our team. As a Geotechnical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading geotechnical subsurface investigations, geotechnical design, and construction-related problem-solving for real estate and oil and gas projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor subsurface drilling, obtain soil and rock samples, and prepare boring logs.
  • Develop laboratory testing programs, interpret laboratory data, and perform geotechnical analyses and design.
  • Provide recommendations for building foundations, cut and fill slopes, retaining wall design, landslide remediation, and roadway rehabilitation.
  • Manage construction materials testing services, including coordination, supervision, review, and direction of technical staff for earthwork, concrete, foundation, masonry, and pavement testing.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of consulting geotechnical engineering experience.
  • Professional Engineer registration with applicable experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in Geotechnical Engineering.
