Job Description

Job Title: Automotive Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at BMW Dealer Technician Opportunities. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnoses, repairs, and maintenance work for customer and dealership vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostic Services: Perform diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs.
  • Repair Services: Provide labor, time, and parts estimates for repair services.
  • Quality Control: Perform Quality Control checks for repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are complete.
  • Documentation: Complete all required paperwork and documentation for repair services.
  • Communication: Communicate directly and efficiently with Service Advisors and Parts Department Employees.
  • Training: Participate in continual BMW proprietary training/education programs to hone skills and develop expertise in industry-leading BMW automotive technologies and processes.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 2+ years previous of hands-on automotive repair experience in a professional environment or equivalent.
  • Certifications: ASE certifications a plus.
  • Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • Safety: Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
