Key Responsibilities- Perform Daily Repairs and Upkeep: Conduct routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our properties, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting.
- Prepare Vacant Units for Occupancy: Ensure that vacant units are ready for new residents, including completing any necessary repairs and cleaning.
- Manage Service Requests: Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner, ensuring that residents' needs are met.
- Maintain Compliance: Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act, as well as other relevant regulations.
- Oversee Inventory and Tools: Manage the inventory and care of tools and equipment, ensuring that they are in good working order.
- Complete Required Tasks: Complete required tasks, such as training, logs, and reports, in a timely manner.
- Uphold Company Policies: Adhere to company policies and procedures, providing exceptional customer service to residents.
- Seek Educational Opportunities: Participate in educational opportunities for personal growth and development.
- Assist with Preventative Maintenance: Collaborate with the team to develop and implement preventative maintenance plans.
- Collaborate on Curb Appeal: Work with the team to maintain the curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds.
- Perform On-Call Duties: Participate in on-call duties and occasional overtime as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or groundskeeper experience.
- Skills and Certifications: EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred; valid driver's license required; proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes.
