Environmental Services Technician

Key Responsibilities
1. Utility Management ;Adhere to established cleaning protocols in the dishwashing area as per departmental guidelines. 2. Equipment Cleaning ;Follow departmental procedures for effective cleaning of kitchenware, as monitored by supervisors. 3. Delivery Coordination ;Ensure timely distribution of supplies to designated areas according to the service schedule. 4. Sanitation Standards ;Assist in maintaining high sanitation standards in both production and service areas to ensure a hygienic environment. 5. Safety Compliance ;Promote the safety of patients, staff, and visitors by adhering to departmental safety regulations. 6. Additional Duties ;Carry out any other tasks as assigned by supervisors. Qualifications
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Relevant experience is beneficial.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, proficiency in English (both spoken and written), successful completion of orientation programs, capability to lift a minimum weight, and ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This role requires the use of hands for various tasks, the ability to reach and communicate effectively. Employees must be able to stand and walk frequently, and occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include the ability to see at various distances and adjust focus as needed. The work environment typically has a moderate noise level. All applicants, including those with disabilities, must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
