The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our properties. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in general maintenance and repair, alongside outstanding communication abilities and a dedication to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute routine maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and pool/spa maintenance.
  • Address maintenance requests from tenants and property managers promptly, ensuring timely completion of all work orders.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify potential maintenance concerns and ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including materials utilized and hours worked.
  • Assist in vendor management and coordinate with external contractors and service providers as needed.
  • Participate in after-hours emergency on-call rotation and assist with snow removal when necessary.
  • Provide your own basic hand tools; Roundhouse will supply power tools and larger machinery as required.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols as outlined in the Employee Handbook, SOPs, and safety labels on equipment.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and consistently represent the company positively.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or technical certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in general maintenance and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, CPO, and carpentry systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
