Job Overview:


The Client Relationship Manager will collaborate closely with clients (OEMs, tier 1 suppliers, etc.) and internal departments to facilitate commercial operations concerning Electronic Control Units (ECU) and Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) products.

Key responsibilities include serving as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring prompt responses to inquiries, generating sales reports and analyses, identifying avenues for growth, and partnering with internal teams to oversee commercial activities related to designated products.

The ideal candidate should be self-driven and eager to learn about Engine-related product specifications and manufacturing processes to engage confidently with knowledgeable clients.

Additionally, the candidate must possess the technical acumen to identify new product opportunities that will enhance Hitachi's future business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:
Engage with OEM/Tier 1 engineering, procurement, and cost analysis teams.
Coordinate and finalize customer quotations.
Facilitate customer visits to manufacturing facilities and sales offices globally.
Establish and nurture robust client relationships.
Negotiate pricing terms and agreements with OEM clients.
Evaluate costs and pricing for customer applications with a strategic plan to achieve results.
Develop and implement strategies for increased product profitability.
Receive, verify, and manage customer purchase orders.
Oversee the sales budget for respective product lines.
Assist in customer cost breakdown activities.
Monitor and update customer contracts.
Manage and control departmental expenses associated with client accounts.
Support commercial aspects of product development and design modifications.
Comprehend client expectations and collaborate with key team members for timely assistance.
Understand client organization, program milestones, and key deliverables.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Experience with Clients:
OEM & tier 1 powertrain companies preferred.
Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
Highly organized, curious, and self-sufficient.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining strict attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is essential.
Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with Sales Force or similar systems.
Willingness to travel, including internationally.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: - 7 years of experience in sales, engineering, program management, or business development. Automotive powertrain experience preferred. Experience with customer portals is a plus.
