Job Overview:


The Account Executive will collaborate closely with clients (OEMs, tier 1 suppliers, etc.) and internal departments to facilitate commercial operations related to Electronic Control Units (ECU) and Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) products.

Key responsibilities encompass serving as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring prompt responses to inquiries, generating sales reports and summaries, identifying potential growth avenues, and partnering with internal teams to oversee commercial activities tied to designated products.

The ideal candidate should possess a self-driven attitude and a willingness to learn about Engine-related product specifications and manufacturing processes to engage confidently with knowledgeable clients.

Additionally, a strong technical acumen is necessary to identify new product opportunities that will enhance Hitachi's future business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:
Engage with OEM/Tier 1 engineering, procurement, and cost analysis teams.
Coordinate and finalize customer quotations.
Facilitate customer visits to manufacturing facilities and sales offices worldwide.
Establish and nurture robust client relationships.
Negotiate pricing terms and agreements with OEM clients.
Evaluate costs and pricing for customer applications with a strategic plan to achieve results.
Develop and implement strategies for enhanced product profitability.
Receive, validate, and manage customer purchase orders.
Oversee the sales budget for assigned products.
Assist in customer cost breakdown initiatives.
Monitor and update customer contracts.
Manage and control departmental expenses related to customer accounts.
Support commercial aspects of product development and design modifications.
Comprehend customer expectations and collaborate with key team members for timely assistance.
Understand customer organizations, program milestones, and critical deliverables.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Experience with Clients:
Preferred experience with OEM and tier 1 powertrain companies.
Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
Highly organized, curious, and self-sufficient.
Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance is essential.
Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with Sales Force or similar systems.
Willingness to travel, including internationally.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience: - 7 years of experience in sales, engineering, program management, or business development. Automotive powertrain experience is preferred. Familiarity with customer portals is advantageous.
