The Senior IT Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the Marketplace Lead by overseeing various marketplace initiatives. This position is essential for ensuring that projects are executed in alignment with the strategic goals of the organization, delivered punctually, within financial constraints, and uphold the highest quality standards. The role encompasses evaluating project outcomes, pinpointing areas for enhancement, and crafting business cases for prospective projects. Additionally, the Coordinator is responsible for fostering communication among stakeholders and generating executive-level reports and dashboards to monitor marketplace performance metrics.

Essential Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline; or, alternatively, a minimum of 6 years of experience in portfolio, program, and/or project management.
  • Preferred certifications include PMP, Prince2, or Agile methodologies.
  • At least 2 years of experience in relevant project management roles.
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities with a knack for converting data into practical insights.
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and influence across diverse teams.
  • Comprehensive understanding of data management practices and principles.
  • Familiarity with project management frameworks (Agile, Microsoft Project, Gantt charts, JIRA, Planview) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Business Objects, MicroStrategy).
  • Awareness of big data concepts (Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, NoSQL databases) and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of the marketplace strategy and operational plan.
  • Develop and sustain detailed dashboards and reports to communicate project status, key performance indicators, and financial tracking.
  • Oversee and report on the advancement of multiple projects and initiatives.
  • Facilitate effective communication to ensure all stakeholders remain informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
