Genetic Counselor

The UCSF Health Division of Cardiology is seeking a skilled Genetic Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our cardiovascular genetics team, you will work closely with medical providers to evaluate patients and families at high risk for hereditary cardiovascular conditions. Your expertise will be essential in tracking data and reporting outcomes, as well as participating in research and teaching objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with medical providers to evaluate patients and families at high risk for hereditary cardiovascular conditions
- Track data and report outcomes
- Participate in research and teaching objectives
- Contribute to grant-writing and performance improvement initiatives
- Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling or the American Board of Medical Genetics
- Masters Degree in clinical genetic counseling
- Cardiovascular genetics background preferred
- 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred
