As a key member of our clinical research unit, you will work closely with medical providers to evaluate patients and families at high risk for neurodegenerative disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the evaluation of patients and families at high risk for neurodegenerative disease
  • Work closely with medical providers to track data and report outcomes
  • Design, conduct, and publish research projects
  • Collaborate with the research team to advance our understanding of neurodegenerative diseases
Requirements
  • A master's degree from a recognized genetic counseling program or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least one year of experience in genetic counseling (post-master's degree)
  • Board eligible or board certification in genetic counseling by the American Board of Medical Genetics
  • Licensed Genetic Counselor in the State of California
  • Computer skills and basic statistics knowledge
  • Strong writing, oral communication, and people skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in neurodegenerative disease
  • Experience with the provision of genetic counseling in a clinical research setting
