Job Title: Child Abuse Medical Provider

Job Summary:

Kids FIRST, a nonprofit Children's Advocacy Center, seeks a licensed physician or advanced practitioner to perform medical evaluations of suspected child abuse victims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough medical evaluations of children who have experienced abuse or neglect
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including child welfare, law enforcement, therapists, and prosecutors
  • Provide expert medical testimony in court proceedings
  • Participate in training and education programs to stay up-to-date on best practices in child abuse prevention and treatment

Requirements:

  • Board-certified or board-eligible MD, DO, or NP in Family Practice or Pediatrics
  • Experience in a Children's Advocacy Center or a similar setting is highly desirable
  • Passion for working with children who have experienced trauma

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $130k-145k (NP) and $225k-$260k (MD/DO)
