Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and passionate Early Childhood Educators to join our team as Teachers at KinderCare Education. As a Teacher, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our young learners and supporting the growth and development of our centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Curriculum: Develop and implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child, promoting a love of learning and a strong foundation for future success.
  • Create a Nurturing Environment: Establish a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment that fosters social, emotional, and cognitive growth in children.
  • Partner with Families: Build strong relationships with parents and guardians, working collaboratively to support the educational and personal growth of their children.
  • Support Center Success: Contribute to the success of our centers by partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
  • Cultivate Relationships: Develop positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
Qualifications
  • Customer Service Skills: Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating a strong commitment to meeting the needs of children, families, and colleagues.
  • Organizational Skills: Possess strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification: Hold current CPR and First Aid certification or be willing to obtain.
  • State-Specific Qualifications: Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or be willing to obtain.
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential: Hold an active CDA credential or be willing to obtain.
  • Physical Abilities: Possess the physical ability to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
  • Communication Skills: Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate effectively with children and their parents.
