Job Title: Front Desk Agent

Embassy Suites Atlanta Midtown is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests warmly and efficiently, using a positive and clear speaking voice.
  • Complete the registration process, inputting and retrieving information from our computer system.
  • Make appropriate room selections based on guest needs and preferences.
  • Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization using electronic acceptance methods.
  • Handle cash, make change, and balance an assigned house bank.
  • Accept and record vouchers, traveler's checks, and other forms of payment.
  • Promptly answer the telephone using positive and clear communication.
  • Input messages into the computer and retrieve messages for guests.
  • Close guest accounts at time of check-out and ascertain satisfaction.
  • Field guest complaints and negotiate effective solutions.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Hotel experience preferred.
  • Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, using patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger and resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the front office and continuously perform essential job functions.
  • Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
