Position Summary
The Director of Investor Relations will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the investor relations strategy in partnership with the CFO. This position is crucial for articulating the company's strategic value and fostering effective communication between the organization and its financial stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the global investor relations initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment and execution.
- Provide valuable insights and guidance to the executive team regarding investor expectations and perceptions.
- Collaborate with the Board, CEO, and CFO to enhance the company's ESG strategy and reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential investors.
- Engage in company decisions that influence shareholder value and corporate reputation.
- Develop clear and consistent messaging for investors and analysts in conjunction with senior leadership.
- Oversee the collection and analysis of investor feedback, market perceptions, and stock performance.
- Work alongside Public Relations and Marketing to ensure cohesive communication strategies.
- Represent the company at various investment events and media engagements.
- Establish trust and respect with analysts and investors, responding to inquiries with accuracy and timeliness.
- Promote investor interest through presentations, conferences, and strategic outreach.
- Manage the creation of investor communications and publications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- MBA is highly desirable.
- CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in investor relations, finance, or related fields.
- Experience in a B2B manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Proven track record in multinational corporate settings.
- Exceptional analytical skills and financial acumen.
- Strong communication and presentation capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Effective interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of management.
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
