Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, review orders, and ensure that product quantities meet customer demand.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of meat department associates, delegate tasks, and provide feedback to ensure excellent performance.
  • Merchandising: Develop and implement localized merchandising plans, create displays, and drive sales.
  • Operations: Oversee daily operations, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining a clean and organized meat department.
  • Quality Control: Monitor product quality, freshness, and safety, and ensure that all products meet company standards.

Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; associate or bachelor's degree in business-related or food service-related field desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in management within a retail/restaurant/supermarket environment; meat management experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service, leadership, and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
