Role Summary:
We are in search of a skilled and adaptable CNC Machinist and Custom Cabinet Builder. This position merges the technical expertise of CNC machine operation with the artistry of cabinet construction. The successful candidate will excel in both domains, ensuring meticulous and high-quality results throughout the production process.


Key Responsibilities:

  • CNC Machinery Operation:
    • Configure, program, and operate CNC machines for the precise cutting, shaping, and milling of wood and other materials according to detailed specifications.
    • Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to maintain peak performance.
    • Conduct quality assessments to ensure the accuracy of cuts and shapes, making necessary adjustments.
  • Cabinet Construction:
    • Construct, assemble, and finish custom cabinetry and woodworking projects with an emphasis on precision and quality.
    • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to guarantee accurate cabinet construction.
    • Select and prepare materials, including cutting and joining wood components.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Examine finished products for quality and compliance with design specifications, making adjustments as needed.
    • Ensure timely completion of all projects while meeting client expectations.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and team members to achieve project objectives and deadlines.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues to address and resolve production issues.
  • Safety and Equipment Maintenance:
    • Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
    • Keep tools and equipment clean and in good working condition.

Qualifications:

  • At least two (2) years of experience in CNC operation and cabinet construction. Familiarity with both traditional woodworking and CNC technology is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in operating CNC machinery, interpreting technical drawings, and advanced woodworking techniques.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in CNC operation or cabinet construction is advantageous.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities.
