Position Summary

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by developing and maintaining robust relationships with clients. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting various equipment models within the Americas Region.

Key Responsibilities:

In this position, you will work collaboratively or independently to:
  • Install, conduct preventive maintenance, and repair additive manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform comprehensive troubleshooting on complex issues affecting system performance.
  • Coordinate logistics and resources necessary for service and maintenance tasks at customer locations.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to address intricate mechanical and electrical challenges.
  • Assist in site preparation by managing labor and materials effectively.
  • Document all service activities through computer-based reporting systems.
  • Communicate equipment status clearly to engineers, clients, and management.
  • Uphold quality systems in alignment with company standards.
  • Complete administrative tasks promptly, including service bulletins and inspections.
  • Maintain daily communication with customer technicians regarding equipment status to ensure satisfaction.
These responsibilities are vital to the successful operation of customer production machines, ensuring they perform optimally and adhere to quality and industry standards.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
  • An Associate's degree with two years of technical experience, or a High School Diploma with five years of relevant field service experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills at both subsystem and system levels.
  • Effective communication skills in English (or local language) for client interactions.
Preferred Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will also demonstrate:
  • The ability to analyze test data and suggest improvements to existing designs or processes.
  • Competence in interpreting technical documentation.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • A commitment to staying updated with current technologies.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Note: Military experience is considered equivalent to professional experience.
